On behalf of our clients, Messrs. Butterfield & Swire,

we are requested to ask if H.3. The Governor would be pleased

to have the ground shewn on the accompanying tracing, put up

to Public Auction Sale. Should His Excellency assent to

this being done, our clients would be glad if the announcement

in the Government Gazette might appear at as early a date

as conveniently possible, as the question is of the greatest

and most urgent importance to them.

The ground referred to is on the hills to the South of

the Village of "Chatchamui" near the quarry Bay Police Station.
